Surrounded by Corso Giulio Cesare, Lungo Dora Firenze, Via Aosta and Corso Brescia, this area is an urban void, currently perceived as an extremely run-down space, situated on Dora river left bank, not far from the old-town centre. The slope of the terrain is considerable and might be a design opportunity for new actions.
The proposed project includes a student housing facility with co-living and co-working spaces and over 500 rooms. The project also includes the development of a new urban park of more than 5,000 sqm, which will be transferred to the Città di Torino, as well as the construction of a state-of-the-art building for the IAAD – Istituto d’Arte Applicata e Design University.
