La Paracchi was the oldest company in Italy for the production of industrial carpets. The industrial transformation of the area began in the early 1900s in the first section of Via Pianezza, but the most significant interventions were made in the following years, alongside the expansion of the company, which in 1926 produced and marketed a wide variety of products.
In the 1980s, almost all production was moved to the new facility on Via Veronese, and in the early 1990s, the plant on Via Pianezza was permanently closed.

The complex, abandoned for approximately twenty years, has now found a buyer and a new intended use. In June 2024, the property was acquired by Olivero Srl of Fossano through a bid amounting to EUR 651,500. The building is intended to be converted into residential housing. At present, no information is available regarding the start of construction works.
