A significant investment to provide Turin with a new world-class healthcare facility and to redevelop a vast area of the city. The complex will be built within the former Avio-Oval area and will consist of four interconnected functional hubs, designed to replace the hospitals currently comprising the City of Health and Science (including Molinette Hospital, Sant’Anna Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, Regina Margherita Children’s Hospital, and the Traumatology, Orthopedic, and Social and Occupational Diseases Center – CTO).

The complex will host clinical, pre-clinical, and translational research, while also serving as a venue for educational activities (medical and healthcare professions degree courses).

description

The implementation will be based on a public-private partnership agreement and a procedure for an estimated amount exceeding 420 million euros for the first lot. There has been an increase in costs by 72 million euros, primarily due to international factors in recent years that have caused a rise in the prices of raw materials.
