The City of Turin has launched an urban regeneration plan along Corso Palermo and Via Martorelli, in the Aurora and Barriera di Milano districts. The intervention, extending over a length of approximately 3 km, aims to transform the road axis into a more liveable corridor.
The project includes the construction of new cycle lanes, widened sidewalks, the planting of over 400 new trees, the creation of rest areas, green spaces, and the implementation of artistic installations and lighting interventions.
The overall objective is to enhance liveability, safety, urban greenery, and socio-economic opportunities for those who live, work, and frequent this part of the city.
