The Torino Aerospace City project, located in the industrial hub of Corso Francia/Corso Marche, is the result of a collaboration between public and private entities, with 50% of the investments allocated to public works of general interest.
As part of a broader territorial redevelopment plan, Aerospace City aims to combine the region’s needs for technological development, research, and advanced education with a major urban regeneration initiative. This involves repurposing decommissioned industrial areas based on smart design principles, emission reduction, and energy independence for buildings.
The project’s first phase focuses on the Politecnico di Torino area and includes the consolidation and repurposing of Pavilion 37, which will house 12,800 square meters of laboratories for research and technology transfer in collaboration with businesses. Additionally, a new 3,500-square-meter building will be constructed to host educational and service facilities, with a total investment of €42 million.
