This area is occupied by Leonardo company buildings and industrial plants. The current general town planning scheme of the City of Torino classifies it as an Urban Transformation Area. The design proposal envisages the creation of a settlement with a wide range of functions (residential-services-commercial-hospitality) set in an efficient system of areas for public use. In particular, a new large urban park will be created to “break” the consolidated historic line of Corso Francia.
