This area is in the western part of the city, between via S. Maria Mazzarello, via Monginevro and corso Brunelleschi, close to Ruffini Park. It is very well connected to the city centre and the surrounding neighbourhoods by several public transport urban lines. Originally, this area was occupied by the railway firing ground, an area used by the Ministry of Defence which now can be functionally reintegrated into the nearby urban fabric. Currently, a change of the intended use of this area is being studied, with the possibility of including also residential and commercial purposes.
