To ensure the best connection between the “Parco della Salute” and the transportation network, the construction of a New Bridge Station is planned. This station will enable the reintegration of the Lingotto district’s urban fabric with Via Nizza, encompassing both the area of Comprensorio 3 (the FSSU area within the Parco della Salute) that is strictly necessary for the station itself and the square of the current Lingotto station.

For the feasibility of this significant project, the commitments outlined in the Program Agreement of November 15, 2017, include the signing of a specific agreement between the involved parties (the Region, the Municipality, the Metropolitan City, and FSSU). This agreement will define their respective commitments and jointly identify the financial resources needed both for the design competition and for the construction of the New Bridge Station. The implementation of this project is subject to the approval of a variant to the current Municipal Master Plan (PRG), concerning the urban transformation of the railway areas adjacent to the existing Lingotto station.
