The ex-Westinghouse site is situated in one of the most accessible areas in the city, where over the last few years several actions have been taken (Intesa Sanpaolo, extension of Politecnico di Torino, Energy Center, OGR Cultural Hub). Porta Susa high-speed railway station and the related metro station are located nearby.

In 2020, the proposal by Esselunga SpA to transform the area was approved. Currently, the project includes the construction of a conference center, a hotel, and a supermarket.
