The new railway tunnel in Corso Grosseto will connect the current Torino-Ceres line, where the metropolitan railway system trains travel at the moment, with Torino and Porta Susa railway station. As a result, the metropolitan railway system will be extended and further enhanced in Torino north-west area, towards Venaria Reale, Borgaro, Caselle, Ciriè and Lanzo valley, thus offering direct, fast and frequent connections both with Torino centre and Caselle Airport.
