One of the oldest hospitals in Torino, opened in 1887 and named after Queen Maria Adelaide, closed in 2016 when all the wards moved to CTO hospital. RedevelopmentIn February 2024, Ream SGR completed the acquisition of the former Hospital by Città della Salute. The project involves the renovation of the former hospital, which will be converted into a student residence with approximately 370 beds, half of which will be allocated to subsidised rates and to students with disabilities, including food and beverage facilities, study rooms, and recreational areas.
Part of the property (approximately 500 square metres) will be allocated to a healthcare facility serving the local community.
