La Paracchi was the oldest company in Italy for the production of industrial carpets. The industrial transformation of the area began in the early 1900s in the first section of Via Pianezza, but the most significant interventions were made in the following years, alongside the expansion of the company, which in 1926 produced and marketed a wide variety of products. In the 1980s, almost all production was moved to the new facility on Via Veronese, and in the early 1990s, the plant on Via Pianezza was permanently closed.
