A social housing project is currently under development on the site, providing for the construction of 263 housing units to be leased at regulated rents in agreement with the City of Turin. The intervention is positioned within the intermediate segment between public housing and the free market, with the aim of addressing housing accessibility challenges faced by families and young households.

The project, part of the LIVING TO programme, integrates the residential component with community services, spaces for social inclusion, and neighbourhood-scale commercial activities, fostering functional and urban connections between Falchera Vecchia and the new development. The core of the intervention is a new centrally located pedestrian square, connected to the Line 4 tram stop, onto which shops, services, and residential entrances overlook.

The intervention redesigns the urban layout of the district through the construction of nine buildings, the integration of green spaces, and a perimeter-based vehicular circulation system, prioritising pedestrian routes and public spaces.
