The action envisages the recovery of the existing complex to create a commercial facility and residential units, by adjusting the external areas and creating new public spaces (pedestrian permeability). The recovery of the industrial architecture will have to be carried out in consideration of the visual relations with Villaggio Leumann complex where the structure is based. Therefore, the impact of the new technological installations and the renovation of the external glazing will have to comply with the minimum requirements by law. In addition, materials and strategies for the exterior optimization will have to be used to guarantee the right performance and sustainability, while enhancing the existing building characteristics.
