Since the 1950s this site, a strategic place for Grugliasco and the whole metropolitan area of Torino, has made the history of the car industry. Through a public procedure in 2019, Leva S.p.A., Febametal S.p.A. and Sargomma S.r.l. acquired the area for over 3,400,000 euros from Finpiemonte Partecipazioni, through Sit (an investment and territory development company). The project’s goal is the redevelopment of the entire area surrounding the campus. This includes both new construction and the recovery of parts of the existing buildings and services.
