So far the surfaces and volumes to be recovered in the Certosa complex are 40%. The proposed actions mainly regard the so-called “Laboratories”, a charming example of industrial architecture of the last century. Collegno municipality intends to put forward a project for the functional recovery of the Laboratories by using them for university purposes as a result of the agreement already approved by Collegno Municipality, Università degli Studi di Torino, and the local health unit ASL To3. Also the pharmacy areas will be included which, in partnership with ASL To3, can be used for training, university courses, but also craft activities that, with the active involvement of students, can become actual school workshops.
