The project envisages a complete renovation and the construction of new buildings alongside the existing ones in Via Bologna. The whole neighbourhood will benefit from this initiative which is part of a redevelopment started some years ago. The need to renovate is also due to the out-dated existing buildings from an organizational, system and energy point of view. The historical part will be safeguarded, while the other buildings can be transformed and extended. Besides, three new buildings will be created for research, animal safety and food safety activities.
