The area is located between Corso Regio Parco, Corso Novara, Via Regaldi, and Via Ristori, in close proximity to the city center. Currently, it is mostly occupied by the former Torino-Vanchiglia railway yard, which has long been disused, as well as residential buildings and mixed-use production and artisanal activities. On May 4, 2015, the City Council approved the Detailed Plan (PP) as a variant to the General Urban Plan (P.R.G.), granting public utility status to the planned developments.
