The project provides for the full pedestrianisation of Via Roma, from Piazza Carlo Felice to Piazza Castello, in accordance with the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan of the City of Turin. The intervention aims to eliminate vehicular traffic and redevelop the historic axis, safeguarding its commercial vocation and restoring the space to pedestrians through a uniform and fully accessible paving system.
Implemented in agreement with the Superintendence for Architectural and Landscape Heritage, the initiative seeks to promote the creation of a continuous pedestrian circuit within the Historic Centre and to improve the quality and liveability of public space, also through the use of pedestrian flow monitoring systems.

The project is funded by the National Metro Plus Programme 2021–2027.
