Approval of Piano Regolatore Generale (Prg) diTorino, the town planning scheme drawn up by the technical offices and an executive committee chaired by engineer Giorgio Rigotti and architect Sandro Molli Boffa, respectively in charge of the flat area and the hills of the city. The document, adopted by a city which is already based on solid development strategies, is the result of the mediation between the main economic and social needs, for a rationalization of the trends that have been consolidated long since. The Prg replaces the previous document – Piano unico regolatore e di ampliamento dated1908, integrated in 1918 for the development of the city hilly area.
