Pratone

Cactus is created, the polyurethane coat hanger designed by Guido Drocco and Franco Mello and manufactured by Gufram. The company based in Grosso that has been producing chairs and armchairs since the‘50s, in the mid-‘60s starts experimenting polyurethane foam cold forming techniques and collaborating with emerging artists and designers. The result is Multipli, industrially reproduced art objects in limited edition, such as Pavè Piuma by Pietro Gilardi (1967), Pratone by Giorgio Ceretti, Pietro Derossi and Riccardo Rosso (1971), Bocca by Studio65 (1971).
