The “scandal of bribes” breaks out in March, years before “Mani pulite” (clean hands) judicial investigation, involving several famous politicians of the Socialist and Communist Party in the Municipality and Regional institutions. Many councillors, politicians and “fixers” will go to trial for bribery.
