The first edition of Salone del Libro is held at Torino Esposizioni: over 500 publishers and 100,000 visitors. In its fifth edition in 1992, due to the increase in the number of exhibitors and the need to create larger spaces for the new publishing sectors, Salone will be moved to Lingotto.
