Stadio delle Alpi

Designed by Sergio Hutter, Toni Cordero and Francesco Ossola, Stadio delle Alpi is built to host the World Cup football matches. The stadium has a capacity of 70,000 seats and is severely criticized for the very high costs, the poor functional flexibility, the limited pitch visibility from the stands, the management contested by the football clubs. In 2011, with the purchase by Juventus Football Club, the stadium will be largely redesigned and rebuilt.
