Birth of Progetto Speciale Periferie, a project promoting the participation of inhabitants, the regeneration of suburbs and degraded neighbourhoods, as well as social support to projects for a rich and multifaceted experience which makes Torino a national and international leader in this field. Together with Comitato Urban and The Gate project, Torino develops a cross-sectorial work and territorial cooperation model which will be at the basis of Programmi complessi, programmes for urban regeneration.
