Torino is the first Italian city developing its own Strategic Plan. The document gathers different territorial projects and implements them according to a shared governance model involving most mayors of the metropolitan area and over 100 representatives of public institutions, the business and financial world, culture, trade unions, associations and universities. The goal is to re-launch and reposition Torino on the national and international stage. This process is managed by the association Torino Internazionale which includes the main institutional, economic and cultural bodies of the metropolitan area. After the first Strategic Plan, other two editions will follow in 2006 and 2015.
