Opening of the new Torino Porta Susa railway station, designed by Studio Arep, Jean Marie Duthilleul, Silvio D’Ascia, Agostino Magnaghi, who won the international competition promoted by Ferrovie dello Stato in 2002. This is one of the main actions for the development of Spina 2, for a new urban centrality and mobility hub at different levels. The station, designed to be compatible with the high-speed railway lines, envisages also the creation of services and shopping areas for citizens and travellers.
