Filadelfia

End of the first reconstruction phase of the historic Torino stadium, built in 1926 and where Torino matches were played until the 1960s. Since 1983, when the training sessions were moved to Orbassano, the so-called “Fila” has been abandoned, until 2015, when the building site for its reconstruction opened after the purchase of the whole structure by Fondazione Stadio Filadelfia. The preliminary project is developed by Marco Aimetti and Eraldo Martinetto; studio Progeco takes care of the final and executive phases. Nowadays Filadelfia is a sporting facility consisting of a main pitch with 4,000 seats and a secondary pitch used for the first team training and the home matches of the youth team. A crowdfunding is in progress to finance the completion of the two remaining lots that will be used as Torino F.C. headquarters, for different services and home to Museo del Toro.
