Redevelopment and functional recovery of seven buildings of plot C in the complex of the formerOlympic Village in via Giordano Brunoin Torino, where the immigrant inclusion project “MOI- Migranti, un’Opportunità di Inclusione”had already been implemented following the inter-institutional agreement for clearing the buildings and supporting the resident people in the process towards autonomous housing and working conditions. This project aims at developing a new temporary housing model in line with the social housing measures implemented in Piemonte according to the regional council decision DGR No. 27-7346 of 5th November 2007, through the creation of different types of housing solutions which can meet the needs of the so-called city users (researchers, business travellers, teachers, student-workers, relatives of hospitalized patients, people looking for a temporary accommodation because they lost their homes…). Due to its social housing nature, it proposes two types of rent fees: controlled and in the interest of general good, regulated by a specific agreement.
