A considerable investment to give Torino a new and international state- of-the-art healthcare facility and to redevelop a wide area of the city. The complex will be built inside the former Avio-Oval area and will consist of four functional hubs, all interconnected and meant to replace the hospitals currently included in the ‘Città della Salute e della Scienza’ (Molinette hospital, Sant’Anna Obstetric Gynaecological Hospital, Regina Margherita Children’s Hospital, CTO – Orthopaedic Trauma Centre and for social and work-related injuries and diseases). Here educational activities (degree courses in medicine and healthcare professions) will be provided as well as clinical, pre-clinical and translational research.
