The Trentametro project aims at identifying and exploiting the territorial potentials to encourage the setting up of new manufacturing companies and recover the several dismissed zones in the metropolitan area.
By attracting external productive investments and developing synergies bewteen public and private actors, the goal of this initiative is to revitalize marginal or peripheral areas, reduce soil consumption and trigger environmental redevelopment and urban regeneration processes.The Trentametro project has also allowed to map dismissed industrial zones in the metropolitan area and create a web GIS-based platform containing information on the location, perimeters and infrastructures of the identified areas.
