Line 12

last update: 22/02/2024
sources: City of Torino

The new tramway line 12 will run on the main urban mobility axes connecting Torino’s north-western area and the Municipality of Venaria with Torino city centre. The project involves two main routes: the Southern route, corso Lepanto – corso Giulio Cesare, using most of the existing tramway infrastructure which connects the city central-southern sector (c.so Lepanto, c.so Re Umberto, c.so Stati Uniti, via Sacchi) with the city centre and corso Giulio Cesare.

The Northern route, corso Giulio Cesare – Allianz Stadium, running on most of the abandoned Torino-Ceres route between Porta Milano and Madonna di Campagna, until reaching c.so Grosseto up to the Allianz Stadium. The creation of an interconnection between Torino-Ceres and the Italian railway network at Rebaudengo station will replace the whole infrastructure between Dora station and Largo Grosseto.
